Très jolie maison, parfait pied à terre pour visiter cette si belle région. Grand calme. Super confort. Accueil charmant.

From Booking to Leaving our experience was an enjoyable one. Mark was very prompt when replying to questions and confirming the booking. The Gite is very well equipped which helps on the not so nice weather days. The location is ideal for going to a number of Chateaus in the region and also not far from the motorway system for when you are ready to return home.
We had intermittent good weather, if the weather is good then you could just relax around the gite.

Beautifully decorated, furnished and equipped, Le Pêcher is a real joy of a gite, in a very quiet village. Very welcoming to return to, after a day's sightseeing along the Loire (great chateaux and pretty towns within a reasonable distance) – and equally welcoming to spend the entire day at… relaxing on the patio (both sun and shade available at all times) with a glass of good local red.

Gorgeous gite highly recommended! We had a fantastic stay, the gite was very comfortable and clean, everything we needed was provided. The area is very pretty and so peaceful. Supermarket only 5mins away and lots of day trips located under an hour away. Looking forward to a return visit! ( 8 year old son has already asked if we can go back next year!)

Gite has everything. Very comfortable and well equipped.
Enjoyed a Plantagenet trail from Angers to Chinon and Fontevraud. Patisseries in Noyant excellent. Very relaxing.

Lovely, welcoming and stress free.
Such a well appointed gite for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Lots of places to visit, especially the Plan d'Eau at Hommes for a wonderful day at the beach. A pleasure to relax back at Le Pecher after a day's outing.

Brilliant short break
We booked at short notice, but nothing was too much trouble. It was great to stay in a well furnished and appointed Gite with very comfortable beds. The wood burner made for cosy evenings with a glass of wine after our 2 year old grand daughter retired for the night!
Gite conveniently located for easy access to Loire attractions and more than lived up expectations.

Great Gite, ideally placed to explore the Loire
We stayed in this wonderfully renovated Gite in late August 2016. Booking was easy and Mark (the owner) was easy to deal with, the information we received before we went was excellent and the Gite was easy to find.
The welcome was great and gave us all the information we needed and the welcome basket of food and drink etc meant we had some essential supplies for that evening.
The Gite itself has been really well renovated to a very high standard and all the rooms are lovely and large. The quality of the furniture and appliances was of a high standard too. It was one of the rare Gites where the pictures do truly reflect the accommodation. As can be expected of the Loire in Summer the weather was great and we took full advantage of the outdoor seating in the lovely garden and courtyard as well as the BBQ and garden games (swing ball and badminton). Oh and there is quick WiFi too for the teenagers!
The Gite is in a quiet location but has easy access to the main roads with the brilliant Saumur just 30 minutes away, with its river trips, castle and vineyards.
I would definitely recommend this Gite and hope to stay here again.

Fantastic Loire valley accommodation. Mark's parents met us with keys, a gift basket with eggs, bread, cheese, cookies, etc, and instructions for the house. The house has been completely renovated and furnished to a very high level, and is in a perfect location for exploring the Loire valley. Our entire experience there was wonderful.

Peaceful and relaxing
We've just returned from 2 1/2 weeks in France during which time we stayed for a week at this lovely rural gite. It is peacefully situated in a small hamlet with only an occasional passing car.
The spotlessly clean accommodation couldn't be faulted. It has been tastefully and recently renovated and includes all the conveniences to make a holiday stress free. We were met and welcomed by the owners' parents and given a small food basket to get started. It has plenty of space for 6 people and is equipped accordingly plus extras.
We would recommend this gite mainly to those who need a peaceful holiday and interested in the wines and chateaux of the Loire.

A first class gite in a beautiful area
We have just returned from two weeks at this lovely gite. We were three couples and did worry if the gite would be big enough. We had plenty of space, all the rooms are large especially the kitchen/dining room, where we spent many happy evenings round the dining table playing cards and drinking wine! The gite is well equipped, comfortable, modern but at the same time hasn't lost its old fashioned charm. The surrounding area, villages and towns are all worth visiting. The hotel in Noyant Lion D'Or serves a good evening meal.
We all really enjoyed our stay at this lovely gite and wouldn't hesitate recommending it and the area for an amazing holiday.

We stayed at this lovely house during the May half term. The house is excellently equipped- very comfortable for 6 of us with plenty of space. The fireplace came in very handy due to the bad weather. But despite that we had a really wonderful time and thank Mark and Suzanne for all their help and hospitality.

Myself and my husband stayed in this amazing gite in September. The photos and description do not do it justice I feel. There was a huge amount of gites we could have chosen from - but we are so glad we booked Le Peche.
The gite is situated in a small village close to Saumur. It is newly refurbished and everything is finished to the highest standards. Every single item is top quality - which made such a difference to our holiday. I adored the huge kitchen dining room. The cooker is just fabulous. We happily bought local produce and cooked most evenings - the facilities were so good. We loved the big log fire - which we lit one chilly evening. I can only imagine how cosy this would be in late Autumn/Winter. Wifi was really good and it was great to have all the UK TV channels.
We only used the downstairs bedroom and en suite bathroom - the shower was one of the best we have ever used. There are a further 2 double rooms upstairs - ideal for a family or a group of friends travelling together. The gite was so well maintained, clean and fresh. We live in the city - and it was such a treat for us to relish the complete peace and tranquility of the area.
Outside there is a lovely garden - complete with patio area, furniture and BBQ (the owners even left utensils, fuel and matches for us). We were lucky enough to get the last warm peaches from the peach tree in the garden. Just a few steps from the gite - are acres of the most gorgeous orchards. It was quite an experience to see so many trees full of bright red apples - ready for harvesting.
We felt the gite was very well situated for doing day trips - we went somewhere different every day - never more than an hours drive. We did the Gratien and Meyer vineyard tour in Saumur - great value. We really liked Saumur too - full of atmosphere. You are spoilt for choice with the variety of chateaux in the area. Our favourites were Chambord and Chenonceau. The nearby village of Noyant was very handy - we loved the Friday morning market there. The produce was really good. There are also quite a few hypermarkets nearby - very handy for buying goodies to bring home - which we did in abundance!!!!!
This gite is a true home from home - every tiny detail has been thought through. Mark (the owner) was a delight to deal with from the first enquiry right down to contacting us on our return to make sure everything went well. John and Cynthia, who look after the property were wonderful - the gorgeous welcome basket and their local knowledge was much appreciated.
I could not recommend this property highly enough. We really enjoyed our time here. Next time I would consider returning with our adult children/extended family. It is so much more than a vacation rental.

We had a lovely week relaxing at the Gite It had everything we needed and more including good WiFi (very useful for planning trips) and english TV. The garden is quite private and we enjoyed spending the warm evenings outside with a glass of wine peacefully watching the views.
When staying anywhere around here a car is essential and we found the Gite a good base from which to visit Angers, Saumur, Loches, Chinon, etc. Also only 5 mins away is Noyant with everything you need in terms of essential shops and a choice of restaurant\bars\cafes.
We also discovered a couple of nice walks down the hill from the Gite.
The owners were very friendly and helpful with local advice and ensuring we had everything we needed.
Roll on next year!
